about
turquoise group

Turquoise Group is an Australian clean energy company headquartered in Brisbane, focused as an owner-operator of plasma methane pyrolysis technology (also known as Turquoise Hydrogen technology).

Turquoise Hydrogen is produced through the decomposition of methane gas into hydrogen gas and solid carbon. This approach is highly energy efficient, is a water-free process and has no CO/CO2 direct emissions.

While the hydrogen gas can be sold as a clean fuel, Turquoise Group's key value driver is the continuous production high-quality graphene carbon powder. Graphene is a revolutionary material with the capacity to transform and disrupt established markets and technologies.

our
approach

Turquoise Group's cutting-edge proprietary technology process decomposes methane gas (CH4) into its constituent elements, in the form of hydrogen gas (H2) and graphene carbon powder (C). Our graphene powder is FLG (2-10 layers), with no measurable impurities.

TG-GRAPHENE

A fundamental tenet of Turquoise Group's mission is the continuous transformation of methane gas into cost-effective high-quality graphene powder.

Our proprietary technology process is inherently modular, affording the flexibility to accommodate varying customer demands. These modular units are easily transported, and when powered by renewable electricity sources, boast remarkably low scope 2 emissions. Furthermore, should biomethane or waste gas sources be employed as a feedstock, our process can achieve a carbon-negative footprint.

Turquoise Group is producing graphene powder from our established operational facilities in Brisbane, Queensland. With planning underway to double our production capacity in early 2027.
